Insight Reporting Settings

Insight Reporting will be disabled on January 31, 2016. Please begin using Bi Reporting.

The Insight Reporting Settings page contains all of the information and tools you need to interact with Actuate® BIRT® Designer Pro and LearnCenter. The information provided in the iServer Profile section is generated by Taleo Learn. You will enter this information (or copy and paste it) in the appropriate Designer Pro fields.

On the ControlPanel:

Click on the Reports menu to expand it.
Click Insight Reporting Settings. This page is only visible to the Users you have given the Designer Pro profile usernames.

The User Name and Publish Location information varies depending on what sub LearnCenter you are using. If you have multiple LearnCenters open while working with Designer Pro, be sure to copy the information from the correct LearnCenter, or you may end up publishing your report to an unintended sub LearnCenter.

Copy and paste the appropriate information in the iServer Profile section to the appropriate fields in Designer Pro.
(Optional) Use the Parameter Generator section to generate parameter values into XML code for use when designing reports in Designer Pro. Familiarity with XML is recommended for this feature. Select an item from the Parameters drop-down list. Additional fields display, enabling you to refine the selected parameter. You can generate one parameter at a time.

Click Preview Results to preview the XML code.

Click Copy XML to clipboard to copy the code to your computer's clipboard. You can then copy the code in the appropriate field in Designer Pro.
